J.A. Air Center, the Midwest’s premier FBO/Service Center announced today that they will certify Aircell’s new ATG-2000 In-Flight Internet and Voice System for the Citation II and Citation Bravo aircraft.
The ATG 2000 is designed to effectively and affordably provide internet and voice services aboard aircraft with fewer users and/or lighter passenger loads, such as light jets and turboprops. Utilizing Gogo Biz® in-flight Internet and voice service, business aviators can connect three or fewer
personal devices for web browsing, email and voice calls. Coverage is in the Continental U.S. and portions of Alaska; Canada will be coming soon. The system allows you Surf the Internet and talk on the phone at the same time. You can send and receive email with attachments, log into your computer VPN using your own laptop, tablet or Smartphone and enjoy seamless coverage aboard any aircraft across the Continental U.S.
“The Aircell ATG 2000 is the right product for these airframes. This system is priced competitively for this market and provides outstanding internet capability,” said David Ufen, Avionics Sales Director at J.A. Air Center. “This system will provide the ability for the smaller charter operation to be able to still compete in a market that demands this functionality and the standard business traveler to stay connected to the rest of the world.” The STC approval process is expected to be completed early in 2014.
J.A. Air Center is now accepting deposits for upcoming installation positions. For more information, contact David Ufen at 630-584-3200 or email email@example.com
