Over the past 20 years, J.A. Air Center's maintenance department has supported a wide variety of turbine aircraft. Today, many individual, corporate, charter and fractional owners rely on the experience and knowledge of our turbine specialists. With 25 full-time mechanics on-staff and more than 60,000 square feet of hangar space, J.A. Air Center is Chicago's premier service facility.
A.O.G. Service
Centrally located at one of Illinois' largest and busiest private airports, J.A. Air Center offers A.O.G. service to local and transient customers at any airport in the region. Because J.A. Air Center operates as Director of Maintenance for a number of charter operators, we understand the need for a quick response. Our complete avionics support team and extensive parts inventory enable us to serve your needs with a limited downtime.
Engine Support
As a factory service center for Dallas Airmotive, and Standard Aero,
J.A. Air Center gives customers many repair options. Our turbine-engine
experts provide engine removal and installation and will guide you
through the complexities involved in repair, hot section and overhaul.
J.A. Air Center's turbine department also has relationships with
Garrett Aviation Services and Williams Engines, allowing us to service
aircraft on Garrett's MSP and Williams' TAP program.
In addition to routine service requirements, we also perform boroscope inspections and fuel-nozzle-spray-pattern checks, and take S.O.A.P. samples.
Airframe Support
It has been our pleasure to provide turbine support to the Chicagoarea for more than 35 years. Many of J.A. Air Center's maintenance technicians are factory trained, and their knowledge is ever expanding. From Cessna Citation Phase Inspections to administration of the Hawker 800 C.A.M.P. Program, J.A. Air Center has the manpower and technical expertise necessary to fulfill your airframe requirements.
The measure of a maintenance operation's ability is the skill of its staff, but also the quality of its support equipment. This is where J.A. Air Center excels. State-of-the-art hydraulic mules, pressurization carts and torque-calibration equipment allow us to give the most-professional turbine airframe service available. The cooperation of vendors, engineers and NDT providers also gives support crucial to meeting your maintenance needs.
Another important part of our turbine department is maintenance tracking. Programs such as Cescom and C.A.M.P. are beneficial, but are not user-friendly and lag "real-time." J.A. Air Center relies on an in-house Microsoft Excel-based program that details inspection, replacement, and overhaul requirements in a simple format, permitting customers and J.A. Air Center technicians to track and schedule mandatory maintenance items in real-time before they come due.
